[OC] Séamus and Máire Ó Dónaill in the early 1790s, with their kids (back row) Liam, Turlough, Cormac, Oisín, (front row) Eoin, Eilis, Séamus (mostly called Shamie), Pádraig, & Uilleac. by the time the story takes place 15 odd years later the only ones who still living in the north of ireland are Eoin, Shamie, their mam, and the hallucinations of Eilis and their dad’s corpses who spawned in last november when Eoin took laudanum after breaking his arm jumping a fence on horseback and tried to tell him the exact date and time of his death
