Not one filled with beautiful romantic prose meant to fluff you up so high until you can reach out and touch the clouds.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ No, this love letter is real, it's raw, and it's ugly and messy and confusing and grabs you by the throat. It squeezes until you've forgotten what air tastes like.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ When it finally lets you go, you've forgotten how to breathe.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ It's filled with blood and pain and sadness and life. It shows the harsh reality of what it means to be human. What it means to be young and naive but also so much smarter than you're given credit for.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ And in all of that chaos, it is beautiful in a way that will sometimes be off-putting, disgusting, and unlikeable.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ But all of that is why I fell in love with this book.
