My unread pile has got out of hand. I had 52 unread this time last year, read 63 books and now have 72 unread, which makes me extremely guilty of buying/borrowing and neglecting the pile.
I also am currently reading these 5 at various paces..
I know Iām going to buy the new Phillip Pullman in October (finally!!) but otherwise not desperate to get my hands on anything new so it seems like a good time to tackle this situation.
Anything here I should definitely put higher up the list? Iām really enjoying The Dispossessed at the moment and will probably finish that one next, will maybe then move back o to Birnham Wood which I neglected about a year ago with a forlorn bookmark in the first third.
Im going to estimate that the average price I paid per book is about £2.50, which explains the problem, there are just so many great secondhand bookshops within walking distance!
