1. Top 3 Doctors

Eight, Six and Seven. Part of them is that I still consider them the Big Finish Doctors (along with Five of course, but I never really clicked quite as much with him, sorry Five) and they’ve all had some truly incredible Big Finish stories where they got to be amazing, but. I just love these guys.

18. Favourite Cyberman story

Bernice Summerfield and the Crystal of Cantus, even if it ruined cybermats for me forever. It’s a lot, and really makes the Cybermen scary, rather than just another generic monster.

If I have to go Doctor Who only, probably World Enough and Time. Specifically World Enough and Time without The Doctor Falls Attached; that episode I have… some complicated feelings on, but more importantly to this question, I don’t think it made great use of the Cybermen. World Enough and Time did amazingly, and terrifyingly, with them though, and I’ve always maintained the original Mondasian Cybermen are the scariest. (fwiw I’m planning to listen to Spare Parts next time I take a break from Benny and go back to the main range, and I’m very excited for it.)

25. Favourite EU companion?

So, after several years of not having Doctor Who as a special interest and not consuming much more of it than the current TV show, I’m finding I don’t remember a lot of the audios/books/comics I was listening to and reading Back Then, and have forgotten a lot about the EU companions, only keeping a vague sense of, “yeah I thought they were cool.”

That said, I still remember how much I adore Lucie Miller, even seven+ years since I last listened to any of her stories, and she’s still my all time favourite companion.

I think my second favourite is Benny, but as you might have noticed, I’m very much on a Benny kick right now, so that kind of biases it.

OMG I'm so hyped for the boxset but I'm already giving myself high expectations and hyping myself up because of the third story and what I'm assuming it will mean... Steven and the Vardans. Since he explicitly first met them in the story where Oliver died this has to be later. And that means they might be referencing and dealing with the aftermath of Oliver's death. I miss Oliver so much and references are the best I can hope for. But OTOH BF may just ignore it and I'll be devastated! :(

Ahhh yeah, Steven’s one sounds interesting and we thought of Oliver too. Hopefully if its right for the story they’ll make some reference to him and can’t see it being ignored if its the same range and the stories have some loose connection or continuity. Very curious now. And we miss Oliver. Can’t believe sometimes he was in so few stories as he made a big impact. Need to write more Oliver fic lol :D

I reckon too! I played a lot of point-and-click adventure games as a kid, but they were mostly edu-tainment games. Actually, I did pick up a few of the old classic Lucasarts adventure games in a Humble Bundle a short while back, so I don’t have any Monkey Island but I do have Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, and Grim Fandango (which I hear is one of the Great PC Games of All Time).
