This South American plant/herb is also known to be an antiviral, antibiotic, and anti-fungal.

related to the daisy - has round, yellow flowers with dark red spots in the center that are actually clusters of many tiny flowers.

grows about a foot wide and a foot high is an annual in most areas.

used as a topical pain reliever for toothaches and many other things

also made into tinctures or creams used as a natural botox as it relaxes worry lines and helps to smooth out skin wrinkles. i need to plant me some of this!

often called buzz buttons because of the numbing buzz they cause when you chew on them.

Feeling a bit of nostalgia towards this manga...

It is one of my favourites since the first time I read it years ago! I've already re-read it a bunch of times, and I keep coming back to it! 🥹❤️

🌿visiting BIOFARM Shanghai🌿 a colorful, informative and fun trip! I learned a lot about organic and biodynamic gardening 🌿, harvested salad, aloe vera and electric daisies, had great conversations and enjoyed delicious food🍆🥦🌽🍚. so glad a place like this exists in shanghai! living here with a little one in tow makes me wonder about pollution and food safety a lot, so its great to meet good people who put all their passion and effort into growing and preparing healthy, safe, delicious food and keeping heirloom varieties alive❤️.

the last picture (chamomille looking plant) is a real stunner! the szechuan button (aka buzz button or electric daisy) opened a door to a totally new sensory experience, unlike anything i‘ve ever perceived before. a bite into the yellow flower produces a tingling sensation that goes beyond plain old taste. a citrussy/peppery zing is accompanied by a soft pins-and-needles feeling in your tongue and palate that slowly fades out in to a refreshing numbing/cooling sensation. these litterally mouthwatering sensations color the flavor of everything you eat afterwards in a funky, indescribable way. a must try if you ever stumble across these yellow little fellas.✨ // besuch der BIOFARM Shanghai - ein farbenfroher, informativer und schoener ausflug! ich habe heute so viel ueber biodynamisches gaertnern gelernt🌿 und salat, aloe vera und szechuan prickelknoepfe geerntet, habe tolle gespraeche gefuehrt und fantastisches BIO menue genossen🍆🥦🌽🍚. ich bin grad einfach nur uebergluecklich, dass es orte wie diesen in shanghai gibt. bei unserer entscheidung, mit kleinkind in diese crazy metropole zu ziehen, habe ich am meisten mit den themen umweltverschmutzung und lebensmittelsicherheit gehadert, daher tut es so gut zu wissen, dass es hier viele tolle menschen gibt, die all ihr herz und blut in leckeres, lokales, gesundes BIO essen stecken

First Impression: Dengeki Daisy

Dengeki Daisy is about Teru Kurebayashi, an orphan who has been communicating with DAISY, a mysterious figure who is responsible for watching over her well-being, through a cellphone given to her by her late brother before his passing. One day at school, Teru accidently breaks one of the windows. In order to pay off her debt, she agrees to work for the delinquent school custodian, Tasuku Kurosaki. What Teru has yet to realize is that DAISY might just be closer than she had thought.

So, I don’t know if this is really a spoiler, but the mangaka makes it pretty obvious to the reader who DAISY is right off the bat. The focus is instead on how DAISY came to be connected to Teru and her brother, as well as how and when Teru will discover DAISY’s true identity. DAISY also seems to be a part of a larger, underlying mystery which is alluded to at the end of the first volume.

When it comes to the characters, I find Teru to be very sassy (though a bit naïve at times) and entertaining. I also like Kurosaki as well. There is a pretty interesting dynamic between these two main characters and I’m looking forward to seeing how their relationship will develop over time.
