Had to do some carpentry for the Academy's science classroom today. Looks like they've been doing some experiments with acidic compounds this week, and now they need some new tables and chairs to replace the ones that melted.
The whole time, I was really annoyed by a constant buzzing sound I couldn't seem to escape. I assumed there was a really persistent fly somewhere in the room, but I couldn't find it no matter how hard I tried.
Anyway, it was a very long day of assembling furniture and trying not to go mad. When I finished and I was finally turning to leave the room for the last time, I noticed that one of the class's electromagnets had had been left on. It was interfering with the speakers in my helmet and causing the buzzing.
Sigh. I'm gonna go find a dark corner and sit in complete silence for a while so I don't snap.
