One time in elementary school, my class was put in groups of three and were told to create a word. My group chose the word ugly to combine with another word. My friend suggested how about freakin and ugly to create the word fugly. We were just elementary schools and didn’t know of that word yet. We just wanted to be done with the assignment, so we wrote it down and went to lunch. 

We came back and our paper was randomly gone, so we just wrote it down again. The teacher came by and saw it, so she snatched the paper away admitted she threw the other one away, and then proceeded to yell at us saying it was a bad word and we shouldn’t be saying it. And that was how we discovered the word fugly was already a word.

Well, it wasn’t all in my head...

And that’s the story of how I got sick at school for the first time since grade 2.

At least this time I didn’t do it on the boy I have a crush on. ;)
