I drew this simple illustration after my first therapy session on the new year. God was calling me to do some creative time with Him today! 😉 This visual concept came to mind and I just had to put it on paper. Using graphite & color pencils this “bone-eating slime slug” took form. There’s no doubt in my mind that this image was Holy Spirit inspired. With a dash of a gaming-lore. Lol The personal significance of this concept is related to “fear” that manifests through worry and anxiety in connect to family. These things eat away us to our core. If we allow them to spread and multiply into every facet of our lives, we can easily become lost to it. If not addressed, seeds of hopelessness will sprout in our lives and therefore we become consumed or choked by despair.
Take note that these slime slugs are deadly vulnerable to sea salt. Inspired by the earthly fact that snails and slugs, but also biblically reffering to Christians bring call tone the Salt of the Earth.

As a growing Christian, I know I'm being called to be the salt and light of God; especially among the relationships of my family members. I also know that I cannot be successful without the Holy Spirit working though me. This is truly humbling. God finds sheer delight in taking the least of these among this world, and raise them up to become mighty warriors beyond this temporal realm. I'm deeply honored you chose me! 💖✝️☺️
