Happy Goddamn New Years everyone! It's finally snowing for the first time this December. I stepped outside and felt like I was at the end of Doctor Who Christmas special with how the timing of this snow was!

Happy Goddamn New Years everyone! It's finally snowing for the first time this December. I stepped outside and felt like I was at the end of Doctor Who Christmas special with how the timing of this snow was!
Ok so, ever since I found out Inktober is over I’ve been struggling to find another thing to do in place of it this October, but I’ve finally found out what!
It’s been a long time now I’ve drawn digitally and I really wanna get back into that, so over the course of October I’ll be doing a digital doodle a day! And in order get enough inspiration for it...
Drawing requests are open!
Up until the end of October, feel free to send me requests for characters (+ emotions or AUs/concepts too if you want) to draw! I’ll be tagging this post with a couple of things I’d be interested in drawing characters from, but feel free to request characters that are from other things as well!
You know, I used to roll my eyes at names that were just regular words, but after I've done lots of name research for a few OCs I've come to respect them because guess what?
It turns out MOST names are just regular words, or two-three words smushed together. It's just that most of those words belong to old or dead languages or have fallen out of style
Edward is just the old English words for "wealth" and "guard" smushed together, with the As being removed over time
Geir is The Old Norse word for "spear" and is just one extra R off from the original version
My own birth name was also originally two regular Old Norse words put together, and just got edited over time as language changed
It's all just fcking words
If you have a dream where the whole premise is that you're [x] fictional character among your fellow characters from that show, and yet you find yourself completely unable to use your magic powers so instead you have to awkwardly tell people how you just used your powers like you're in a larp or playing pretend, would that be classified as a nightmare?
Because it includes common tropes in nightmares like feeling powerless and getting utterly embarrased in front of people, and I'm sure this reocurring thing must be connected to some sort of subconcious fear or something, right?
Also have anyone else experienced this before?
I was settling myself up all cozy to open my email and read the newest Dracula Daily but then there was nothing there! Criminal! How dare! I had started making a daily ritual out of this :c
I'm going to forever lose my mind over the fact that in the Norwegian dub of Frozen, they localized the main characters' names.
You know, the names that where already Norwegian.
They seriously took their old timey names that fit the time period they were from and modernized them when translating the movie to the language of it's setting.
Who the f*ck does that????
A reminder to everyone who falls under the queer/lgbt+ umbrella that you matter so much and there are people who care about you, even if you can't always see them. You make the world so much better by living and existing and being you, and nothing that happens can change that.
Happy Pride, no matter how you're celebrating.
Longing for the good ol days where you could escape drama by running off into the mountains and become a shepherd
