5x06 underrated moments: Diyoza quoting The Art of War
Can we talk about how Madi’s go-to-move seems to be leading people into a bear trap, so she can potentially stab them....like damn
Q&As The 100 Edition (pt1)
"Bringing this back by popular demand, remember to answer using gifs 😉"
Found this @12-altunivkru, had to fill it out too (thanks for posting it 🙂)! It's a lot of fun, and a great way to show off our fandoms' talented gifmakers!
1. Your top 3 characters 🏆
(I'm sorry, I thought you said 3 gifs of all my favourite characters 😏)
2. Your favorite romantic relationship 💙
3. Your favorite non-romantic relationship 🙌
(kidding! here it is:)
4. Three dead characters you wanted dead ☠️
harsh! but, okay (sorry!):
5. Two dead characters you wish were still alive 😇
I’m really looking forward to Shaw having his fuck-this-shit-i’m-out moment.
So this is a response to the The 100 episode “Sleeping Giants” - which has not come out yet nor have I seen. So my response could be 100% wrong here
But, I’m not a fan of comparing Clarke and Madi and the Eligius crew to season one of the grounders and the delinquents, which seems to be the case in this episode (to some degree)
While there are certainly similarities, the situations are very different.
Let’s start off with the obvious, who has the power.
In season 1, it was the grounders.
In season 5, it’s the eligius crew.
Additionally
The grounders in season one started the conflict, by watching the delinquents from the very beginning and you know throwing a spear right into Jasper’s chest and then tying him up to potentially be eaten by a panther.
The Eligius crew starts the conflict by the two guys finding Madi and one full on preparing to kill her right there.
Don’t get me wrong, Skaikru are not innocent in many of their conflicts with grounders, but the grounders started the war and then kept getting offended and acting like they were the victims, whenever the delinquents attacked them back....
Best exemplified,
When Anya demanded that Clarke heal her second who got injured when they blew up the bridge, which the grounders were crossing to slaughter all the delinquents.
Or in season 2, when I believe Lexa commented on Clarke killing a hundred grounders with the space ship, which again happened because Lexa kept sending grounder armies to slaughter them all, after sending a biological warfare disease with Murphy to pick them off.
Or the whole, Finn must die so we can have an alliance thing, even though the grounders had killed plenty of civilians on the other side, as the delinquents were not soldiers but teenagers and kids.
Or when Indra commented that it was wrong from Azgeda to kill the Farmer Station people (including kids) when they landed in their territory, even though that’s essentially what Trikru did.
