While lurking in the corners of the Tumblr Tf Rid15 fandom for the hundredth time today, I came across a thing (they are lying to you, they have been looking at the thing for a couple of days at lEASt)...
Elkbee, huh?How we feeling about it? (Or Hoofbee, if you prefer)
For those of you who don't know, it's the ship between Thunderhoof and Bumblebee from tf rid15. And honestly?? This shit's delightful, absolutely beautiful! Their dynamics, antagonism due to multiple factors ( ones an ex cop and current protector of the damn Earth -and yes I said ex cop, cause even I can admit that making Bumblebee a cop was a dumb Idea so I simply erased it from my memory, out of sight out of mind style, and went on with my life-, while the other's a damn Italian mafia boss or crime ring leader idk, being in different opposing teams etc) and their mutual distaste/ toxic yaoi looking ass relationship with Steeljaw (yes I said it).
Also the fact that Thunderhoof doesn't care all that much about Bumblebee at the start (the hottest thing a girl can do is ignore you some might say, amiright). Including my definitely not biased opinions on the way people usually show these mafioso characters in relationships like some sort of suave, bad boy archetype and forgetting the fact that they're just humans (or Cybertronians in our case) who do terrible things to gain power, political or otherwise, rule "their" areas with an iron fist making a good amount of people fearful of them and more. And totally not the addiction we all (canon writers of series and comic artists included) must have on giving Bee some of the most toxic, meaningful, insane chemistry with each and every one of his enemies or rivals (I see y'all, don't lie).
I just want them to bond,yk? While each ones respecting teammates decides to do something else in a particular night, leaving them alone. Steeljaw is locked in his makeshift lab plotting their next move, Clampdown is hiding again for Reasons™ (a.k.a he pissed someone off again) and the rest are playing some short of card game that Thunderhoof can't be bothered to remember. So to say that boredom is killing him would be an understatement. He's good at waiting, doesn't mean he likes it.
Then though, a thought pops into his processor. While internally cursing Steeljaw out for keeping them in the dark about almost everything and any other petty arguments he has had with him recently (they have those, even if they aren't dating, change my goddamn mind) his hateful train of thought comes to a sudden halt when he starts to muse about Steeljaw's weird obsession with the leader(?) of the rival Autobot team stationed nearby, Bumblebee was his designation if his memory bank didn't fault him. He never saw the appeal with Optimus's scout, not how Steeljaw did no. He had more important things to do to waste his time watching Steeljaw rant about any little detail regarding the mech.
Not now though, as it turns out. He can't help but wonder now.
"There is technically a truce in between us and them.", his processor helpfully supplied. While it would cause suspicion to arise seeing him in the scrapyard, it wouldn't violate the thin alliance they have crafted, for now at least (He knew that this fragile peace would be almost impossible to last, so why not make it matter while he still could).
Bumblebee on the other hand, having just finished breaking apart a fight between Strongarm and Sideswipe, was finishing up some tasks at the scrapyard. While he was doing that, he watched his teammates as they were up to their usual antics. It was actually kinda nice, seeing them return to some form of weird normalcy after, well everything.
Enter, Thunderhoof stage left.
Thank you @grace-to-ace for the creation of the shipname and my new obsession!
