Only Girl, known also as Ellen Murphy, came out of the blue to me a few weeks ago when her track Remains just quite simply took my breath away with the beautiful sound and the story behind it. Her new track Tonight was recorded live in a church and I have to say that is absolutely gorgeous. Her voice has this upper register that sends chills down my spine and the emotion she has within this track is just bloody - Jakk

The Bump // Only Girl I really like this music. When I looked into Only Girl I was skeptical at first. Maybe because based on the name I assumed it was off limits to me. But of course I kept digging and soon fell in love with the sound. More specifically, the voice of Ellen Murphy. Her voice is so angelic, simple and pure. Yet there's a hint of nostalgia. A comfort about it. Especially evident in a song like Mountain. And the content of the lyrics are very real and honest. You add all that to the simple and soothing instrumentation and you have Only Girl. Music I could listen to all day. Music to unwind with. Music thats simply just good.
