The dark One. Who is him?

I will later post a theory on the dark one but now it’s just rumbling and chitchat. Please feel free to interact :) !
who the dark one could be was a hot topic among readers until we got ro The War of Two Queens where it was answered. However….was it answered? Which Da'neer brother is it more fitful to carry the tittle?
The are three different concepts that define the dart one:
1 - The first one is: Who hurt Poppy? Now, we know it was Malik Elian Da'neer (my boy <3) so he must be the dark one
right…?
2 - Then the other definition to the Dark one is that he killed the first Maiden. Now we know that this would be Millicent and that she died during her ascension because Cas' blood was not strong enough to keep her alive. Therefore, theoretically Casteel “killed” the first maiden (this is how is portrayed by the characters in the book idk don’t ask me) so he must be the dark one….?
3 - This last point is not based on “what happened” but more in a fact. Through the entire series 2 facts are made clear:
(1) People outside Atlantia and the ascended of Solis have no idea who Malik Da'neers, they have no clue about the existence of another and actually older Atlantia prince, they only know about Casteel and nothing else. They don’t even know that the (now former) King and Queen of atlantia are still alive and ruling and they are even more clueless about Casteel having a brother.

Or that the Atlantian royas were even alive and that it was not just Casteel PLUS even Cas acknowledges that he is the Dark one:
(2) Casteel is publicly know as the dark one, all through Solis, to the woods and into Atlantia, everyone knows that when people used to refer to the dark one up until Book 4, everyone meant Casteel.
