i can’t get over the fact that this man was literally ready to give up his own life to keep her safe from the gale force 🥺 there was no way he could have known she would turn him into a scarecrow to save his life when they were torturing him in that field. he was fully ready to die because of how much he loves her and wants to protect her, and omg i love him sm for that.

in the space of the two films he’s gone from the “I happen to be genuinely self-absorbed and deeply shallow” guy to the guy that would happily give up anything for her, and he is the only person in her life who has ever sacrificed anything for her which is so special to me 😭

her little laugh when he tells her that he and his family live in the other castle, because of course they do 🥹 look at the way she LOOKS at him, she’s so in love 😭
