I could not be more obsessed with how much this man adores her 😭 He couldn’t keep his hands off her the entire time
this whole scene is everything to me, from the way people actually acknowledge her now to the way she tries adorably to perfect the “toss toss”, to the way he smiles at her and is all like “hey, don’t try to be like my freaking girlfriend, you’re perfect the way you are and i love you, i just can’t come out and say it because yeah”, and then her little giggle because you just know she has butterflies 😭
man was determined to continue to shoot his shot even after being spurned by her less than 12 hours earlier 😂 he just wanted her to like him, poor boy
i can’t get over the fact that this man was literally ready to give up his own life to keep her safe from the gale force 🥺 there was no way he could have known she would turn him into a scarecrow to save his life when they were torturing him in that field. he was fully ready to die because of how much he loves her and wants to protect her, and omg i love him sm for that.
in the space of the two films he’s gone from the “I happen to be genuinely self-absorbed and deeply shallow” guy to the guy that would happily give up anything for her, and he is the only person in her life who has ever sacrificed anything for her which is so special to me 😭
