At risk of being repetitive, because I've reblogged a few posts about the topic although I've never made one myself, something I need to shout out Elriels for is we're a pretty tight community that won't leave one of us hanging, especially if we're seeing unfair treatment, from whomever it is.
We don't precisely agree on everything, that needs to be said too. Lord knows many of my mutuals could've blocked me for how hard I go on Lucien when they like him and want him to be happy eventually. But it's fine, we understand that we disagree on stuff.
Some of us think Elriel are mates, some don't. Some think Lucien should get a POV, some don't. Some of us think Elriel will happen through Elain making the first step, some think that's not the case at all. And so on and so forth. I could maybe name more instances but you get my point.
What I don't see though, is people shaming others for "stepping out of line" or disagreeing on stuff, or calling out bad behavior (non that there's much, if any tbh ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ).
I have to appreciate this little supportive community we've built for ourselves. I hope you know I appreciate each one of you so much.
And not to be sappy but I probably would've noped out of them fandom a long while ago had it not been because I detected pretty soon just how welcoming and open-minded and diverse this side of the fandom is.
You guys are the warmest, funniest, kindest, most intelligent group of women (gays and theys I see you too) I could've possibly asked to have around me while we wait for out girl's book. It sure as hell hasn't been an easy ride for us, as much as we try to make light of it.
I know some of you have had the most horrifying experiences with certain people. But we're closer than ever now.
I appreciate you so much. Stay amazing ๐ฉท๐ธ
