A weekend spent with books in hand and many cups of coffee

I had to reward myself with yet another vanilla sweet cream cold brew and the ending of a good book for taking the SAT yet again... it was a bit stressful, but I’m glad I did it 🙃
Yesterday I made the best batch of whipped coffee that I’ve ever made!!! It was soo fluffy and delicious and I can’t get enough of it!! ☕️
I had a couple of days last week where I felt really down and upset. I had no motivation and couldn’t get myself to do much of anything. I’m finally back on the happy side, and I’m learning to celebrate the small, every-day accomplishments (like making a really good batch of whipped coffee) that I make in life 😁

I took a little break from social media the last couple of days to deal with a tough situation.
Sometimes, life isn’t all butterflies and rainbows and unicorns. Sometimes we struggle. We may have to say goodbye to a person we thought would be a part of our lives forever.
But the important thing is that you never lose your faith in God, and that you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move forward. That’s what I’m learning, and I’m doing much better now. So, enjoy this picture of an iced caramel cloud macchiato that I treated myself to (all part of the healing process 🙃)
6/21/20 - The Start of Another Busy Week
Today was a relaxing Sunday 🤍 I went to church, came home and took a loooong nap, did my Bible time and then made some coffee with a little hot chocolate in it to drink while burning a candle
It’s the little things you enjoy that make life worth living, especially since life tends to get hectic 🤍
(I went back to Matthew in the Bible today and read some of Jesus’s teachings in chapter 6, which are so wonderful to go through ☺️)

Day 2 of running errands and today I opted for a fruity drink from Starbucks instead of another coffee ☕️
I know this picture isn’t the most gorgeous one I’ve ever taken (in fact it was a photo I snapped very quickly while heading to the car) but I wanted to post something slightly different than what I normally do 🙃

Last night I had a little photo shoot outside for my Digital Photography class, and today I’m running errands and drinking coffee ☕️
I’ve been trying out coffee recipes to make at home, and I just made an iced caramel macchiato that tastes pretty darn similar to Starbucks, so naturally my mood has been improved for the day ☕️
