Endeavor the Embarrassing Dad

It makes me question if I’m the only one who noticed. This is purely my option after reading chapter 164 so don’t hate me.

****Spoiler alert****

I think Enji – despite being shitty at raising children he – obviously developed a Son-con for Shouto. Just let me explain.

It might have come for him after the years of getting old and maybe a bit wiser compared to the years he trained his youngest when he was just 5 years old. Of course it does not excuse the way he treated his son at the first place.

Anyway, at first his infatuation of his “fan”-ship was really subtle in the “Stain-arc”. At that time I’ve guessed he just want to show off Shouto that he’s better then All Might.

However when it came to the training for the provisional license this idea stuck in my head. The foreboding of Shouto is also a good proof as he clearly sees his doom. I loved his expression XD.

I only get the confirmation when Endeavor shows up in all his glory. Enji is like the typical embarrassing parent who is shooting and cheering waaaay to enthusiastically on the school events, making their kids wish to sink into the floor to just disappear. OMG I would have killed my dad if had done this!

Honestly when I saw him cry like crazy man (he is btw) I laughed my ass off. Imagine your dad doing that before a school-play or on your track and field competition.

Don’t get me wrong I still don’t like him at all; just this scene was truly hilarious.

This was a proud moment for the both of you. Your little spiderling had her first dance concert.

Neither of you had pushed Spiderling into anything but after watching your daughter trying to mimic Tom’s moves from his performance on Lip-sync Battle, you both agreed to put her into dance class.

Having parents that came from a dance background was a blessing and a curse. You were a dancer for ten years as a child while Tom still practiced his moves whenever he got the chance. Both of you tried to teach little Spiderling but sometimes of the two of you ended up being the students while your five-year-old pretended she was the teacher.

Today, you both sat in the audience with all the other families.

The curtains opened, revealing the cuties dressed in tutus.

You were sitting there taking photos and recording on your phone while Tom couldn’t sit still in his spot as he attempted to mime his daughter’s movements.

You kept trying to keep your attention on the cute little ballerinas, but Tom had managed to capture everyone’s attention.

The music had finished, and everyone cheered.

Little Spiderling crossed her arms in annoyance; She may have only been five years old, but she already hated her dad stealing the spotlight. Tom caught his daughter’s expression and blew her a kiss.

He didn’t mean to upstage his daughter, but she was a great teacher.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, Mia’s dad.” The dance instructors voice boomed through the speakers “Now Mr Holland, if you don’t mind.”

You lowered your head trying to hide your laughter as Tom sat back in his seat.
