After the FinalFest, while the side of Chaos made their homes in the Splatlands, the side of Order built their own society within Splatoon 2’s Inkopolis. A perfect civilization, no matter the cost.

However, as time went on, they grew ambitious. What if they made a perfect species too…?

They captured an Octoling teenager and ran tests on her. Injecting Inkling DNA into her bloodstream, testing the limits of her strength, turning them into a lab-rat. All for the “good of the future.”

Embra endured the tests. Still young and naive, she believed the scientists when they told her that her suffering would benefit future generations.

One day, however, something within her snapped. She attempted to escape the lab, the scientists running after her, and she almost succeeded. She almost succeeded.

She suddenly blacked out for what felt like hours. When she awoke, she was in a blank, empty, distorted facsimile of what looked to be Inkopolis…
