If you don't mind my asking, what's your personal blog? Hopefully I'm not blind and am missing an obvious link to it!
Of course not! My personal blog is Phoenix Fangirls. It’s my mish-mash of fandoms and ships, occasional SJ stuff that’s important to me, and what’s going on in my personal life.
I came across your blog while searching for Swanfire fics to drown myself in since Quiet Minds. So far I've only read everything in the Spinner 'verse but I can't wait to go through everything else. I think you're a fantastic writer and I'm glad I found this blog to enable my denial of Bae's death in canon. (Because really, fuck canon.)
Awwww! Thank you!
Nearly everything I write, if it features Emma or Neal at all, is heavily Swanfire. (The one exception being A Wonderful Carol)
There’s lots of Swanfire coming your way, my friend. Including a Spinner’s Son update, a 9 to 5 update, and a new fic that is a Swan Princess AU.
Fuck canon indeed. Live in fanon. We have better writers and way more fun.
Thank goodness for your blog because it's seriously helping me get through my devastation at Neal's death.
I still can’t believe it :(
but the worst thing is that he didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to Henry, to see him for the last time… I’ll never forgive the writers for this. I’m just so mad
Honestly, crying forever over M. Paul. Don't even talk to me about how Lucy said the time when he was away was the most happy time in her life because there was the hope of him coming back. Also, damn Lucy for being ambiguous about it like she is about anything important.
Aargh I need to re-read so badly! I read Villette several times when I was a teenager and I remember liking it but also being aware that I didn’t really understand a lot of it, something which was a peculiar feeling for me when it came to books! I haven’t read it since and I really, really want to. I do remember being absolutely devastated at the ending. I was still at an age when I had to have my happy ending!
Lucy’s a pretty weird, ambiguous character IIRC whom I definitely didn’t understand properly. I don’t think I liked her very much… but she intrigued me.
Must must MUST re-read!
emceecapitalgee answered: I have nada advice but I just wanted to say I’m super happy for you :)
jaja aw baby thank you! we need to catch up soon k <3
emceecapitalgee replied to your post:Can Robbie Kay just permanently play Henry?...
That’s exactly what I was thinking during the episode. Glad I’m not the only one!
I feel a little guilty about it tbh, because the other actor is just a kid who's doing his best. But RK is such a fantastic actor and he already has a great chemistry with the other cast members. Plus, he and Pan have been the best things about this season so far imo. It would be a shame to lose RK when this plot is over.
I've gotten back into The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and OMG HOW COULD I STOP READING THIS BOOK EVER!!! Gilbert is the cutest thing ever and I can't believe he hit that guy right over the top of his head. I've made it to the part where he's reading the journal to find out what Helen couldn't tell him herself.
I KNOW I KNOW!!! I love that book so much! I wonder what happened to my copy…I think I gave it to my gran..but anyhow, TTOWH is such a masterpiece about alcoholism, domestic violence, patriarchy, and female independency and ANNE BRONTE fucking rocks ok she’s as amazing and badass as Emily and Charlotte, plus, she wrote about some very controversial shit themes, so fucking controversial that Charlotte forbade a second edition of TTOWH in order not to stain her sister’s reputation
