It is implied in a few cases that having a connection to a Yo-kai before they became a Yo-kai allows you to see or otherwise sense Yo-kai; this is shown with Amy being able to see Jibanyan after his death and seemingly being able to sense Yo-kai, Emily (Tomnyan's former owner) being able to see him in the manga, and Doctor Hughly being able to see Usapyon and other Yo-kai. Coincidentally, all three cases of this involve an animal Yo-kai.

Sorry to pop in here again, but I've been having some really bad nightmares lately. Could I maybe have some Sal comfort? If it's not too much to ask? 🥺 Again sorry for bothering you!! 💖

Sal comforting his S/O who has nightmares-

>Sal is very familiar with restless nights. More often than not, he's having the same problem with nightmares and insomnia 🛏

>You can call him up at any time , and nine times out of ten, he'll pick up (if he doesn't, he's finally fallen into an elusive R.E.M. cycle and it might be difficult to rouse him without physically being there. He'll call S/O back the moment he's conscious, though). 🤳🕜

>He understands all too well that, while nightmares aren't real, the fear that they cause is. He'll listen intently to the synopsis of his S/Os dream and reassure them that, no matter how terrifying the entity or worse-case scenario, they pose no real danger. If they don't live together already, he wouldn't think twice about walking to his S/Os place late at night to comfort them if a little talking wasn't enough to calm them down. 💬

>Sally knows all the tricks for anxiety and falling asleep, and would show up with a duffel bag full of supplies- boxes of tea, aromatherapy candles, a weighted blanket, and maybe some video games and movies to keep you both occupied if none of that works and you end up staying up until sunrise together. 🍵

>Sometimes nightmares are just too disturbing to shake off. They might feel a little silly asking, but Sal would never brush off an unusual request from his S/O if it's to help quell their fear- checking under the bed and in the closet, triple-checking that the door is locked and the stove is off, looking over his S/O for injuries or other marks they received in their nightmare, reassuring them that residual delusional thoughts are indeed delusions, checking multiple news sources to really make sure that the end of the world isn’t happening... 😨

>When all else fails, he'll be there for his S/O if they just need to be held while they cry it out. He'll rub their back and keep them grounded, softly reminding them that he's there with them and that they're safe until they drift off to sleep again (and maybe he’ll manage to catch a few Z’s while he’s at it) 😴

>he'll be there in the morning too, just in case S/O has another nightmare and they need him again (he didn't want to wake them by getting up, either- they need their rest after such a rough night, and Sal finds he sleeps better with their weight on him anyway, so it all kind of works out) 🌄💕

I'm listening to some songs and one called "Addictive" by Royal Republic is just a Sal song to me and idk why 😂

I like the vocal style and it’s got some tasty guitar in there, so I could def see (a love-sick) Sal digging it! But I’ve gotta tell you: the ‘im a dick-dick-dick-dicted to you’ line sent me hurtling back into my middle school hot topic days listening to Simple Plans ‘Addicted’ and now im gonna be going down that musical rabbit hole all day 😂😂😂
