Ollie still doesn’t seem to like Damian very much. Also given the mention of Emiko being someone who hung out with Damian in this book hopefully it means we will get a reunion between Damian and his old team at some point. We still need some closure on that storyline. Things need to be made right. At least between Damian and Emiko. I still hate how they threw away that friendship/potential funny couple storylines with Ollie getting mad about who his sister dates. It could have made for some good entertainment. Even without that aspect them not even being friends and ending it all on such bad terms just left such a bad taste when it came to this stuff.

Damian Wayne and Emiko Queen would have been great together had DC decided not to drop the ball and ruin it as hard as they did. The setup was there. The comedic potential of having Oliver be the overprotective big brother and the arguing that we could have gotten between him and Damian would have been funny. The dynamic would have been fun. Not to mention the potential crossover stories involved with the Batfamily and Arrow Family. I can imagine them at some sort of Wayne/Queen Gala and the press getting in their face about the 2 of them only for Emiko and Damian to react to it in a comedic way or something like that. There was potential to have some great scenes with Damian and Emiko connecting over their upbringings and how they truly understand each other’s situations. Working things out together and being there for support and such. It could have been great. Maybe one day this will happen. But, only time will tell.

In the meantime I think someone should write a fan fiction about it. Make it fun and entertaining.

Is anyone else weirded out by this like I am? He’s like 13 and she’s several thousand years old. She could be Damian’s mom several times over. I don’t care if she thinks she’s a teenager or looks it. She’s not. She’s an adult in my book. I don’t get how nobody at DC thought about this when they started shipping it. If she were an actual teenager that was around Damian’s age this wouldn’t bother me at all. In fact i think it would be kind of adorable. But that age gap is really bugging me. Anyone else feel the same way as I do?

Update: Should I be looking at Djinn differently because she isn’t human? Biologically she’s a teenager but her age is different from a normal human teenagers. It’s like with Kon-el biologically he’s what like 16, but his actual age is a lot younger and isn’t a teenager. Should I be looking at this differently!? I don’t know anymore.
