Emil Libert (August 2, 1820 - 1908) was a Danish landscape painter who trained at the Academy but mainly learned landscape art from J.L. Lund's studio.
He traveled quite a bit abroad, always scouting for sublime, romantic sceneries - castles in Heidelberg, or the Norwegian fjords, or ruins on the island of Bornholm.
