A typical Axel/Calamity scene is Ax being asked her pronouns, transphobically giving neopronouns for the sole purpose of making it marginally more difficult for the other cis person asking, and Calamity sighing and insisting her pronouns are she/her. Axel snickers because now he looks like the one who's being transphobic.
After whatever they're doing is over with Calamity gives her a short lecture on why that was bad. She scoffs and rolls her eyes because her girlfriend uses fae/faer, and says that he had permission to say anything about lesbians while they were dating - it's not her fault neither of them knew at the time.
