emmeline vance and lily evans have the WORST academic rivalry.

lily is the leader of her social group (the valkyries) and so is emmeline (the fighters). beater!emmeline signs with a quidditch team at the same time lily is promoted to head girl.

they're constantly one upping each other and their friends are SO TIRED of it. marlene mckinnon and emmeline are friends (except for when emmeline tries to get information out of her) and so are lily and hestia jones (except for when emmeline pulls hestia away from "the enemy")

when emmeline found lily crying, she went directly to marlene. whoever was responsible was found hexed and stuck to the great hall's ceiling next morning.

Lily glanced at herself in the mirror, admiring her body in a tight green dress she had bought the other day. She started putting her boots on just as Emmeline came in the room, slamming the door after her.

"My economics lecturer is shit", she declared, grumpily sitting down on her bed.

Lily rolled her eyes as she stood up, now fully ready, and about to grab her handbag.

"Where are you going?"

"I have a date", Lily hummed, glancing at her makeup in the mirror one more time, "Amos asked me out and I said yes."

"Ugh", Emmeline frowned, "He's a bore."

"Well, I like him. He's smart."

"Wow, incredible criteria you have there."

Lily whirled around to her, "Well when's the last time you had a date? Or even got asked?"

"It's harder for lesbians."

Lily scoffed, "Yeah, especially when the only girl you're looking at is me."

Emmeline stilled, anger spreading on her face.

She finally stood up just as Lily made to leave, "You are so not my type, you patronising bitch."

"Oh yeah?" Lily turned, placing her handbag back on her desk, and striding over to Emmeline.

She placed a hand on Emmeline's cheek and other on her neck as she hovered over her, inches apart, only to let go and walk away as Emmeline grew a bright red and tried to close the distance.

"You're such a git, Emmeline."

Emmeline jumped off a bed, grabbing Lily's hand and turning her around to face her.

Lily immediately pressed their lips together, parting Emmeline's lips and letting her tongue drift into her mouth.

As Lily began to undo Emmeline's bra through her shirt, Emmeline guided Lily to her bed.

They separated for a moment, as Lily wiggled out of her green dress, giving time for Emmeline to unbotton her shirt.

"Fucking cunt", Lily whispered to Emmeline as she sat down on the bed and began to kiss up her chest.

Emmeline let out a whine, as Lily made her way back to her mouth again.

She pressed her palm against Emmeline's knickers before glancing to the door, "Well, I should probably head out for that date."

"Oh, fuck you", Emmeline moaned, sucking on Lily's neck.

Lily smiled, moving down the bed and then lifting up Emmeline's skirt over her own head and pulled Emmeline's knickers down her legs.

She began to eat Emmeline out, licking as Emmeline moans began to grow louder. Lily's hands were clasped around Emmeline's upper thighs, nails digging into her skin.

As Emmeline's back urched and her leg twitched, Lily got out from under Emmeline's skirt.

Lips and chin wet, Lily grabbed the back of Emmeline head and kissed her again, letting Emmeline taste herself.

Lily then climbed off Emmeline's bed, wiping her face with Emmeline's shirt before getting dressed again.

"So", Emmeline sat on the edge of her bed, still topless with no underwear underneath her skirt, "Is that going to be a regular thing now?"

Lily laughed, zipping her dress up, and stroking Emmeline's chin gently, "If Amos is a bore like you claim, then maybe. But, only until I find someone that I do love."

Emmeline placed a hand on Lily's hip, "Or I find someone."

Lily smiled, disbelievingly, "Sure."
