when the bpd, autism, and adhd all join hands to make it feel like no one likes me at all and that everyone will drop me like a sack of dirt as soon as they realize how helpless and all around boring i am 🫶🫶

in bulletproof heart I always thought (like, for three years) the line was "the paper city" not "the papers say", and I figured it was like a comment on the flimsy nature of battery city, and further, capitalism. but um i was wrong i guess. I think my line was cooler.
i dont know if i ever told you this but youre my favourite carlando author. i reread the brazil fic every time i need a laugh its truly a complete masterpiece
🥹🤍
Given how many fantastic carlando authors there are, this is such an incredible compliment - thank you 🤍🤍🤍
That was my very first long fic and it's still one of my favorites as well - I'm so happy you come back to it!
mate kit herondale is so damn angsty and in a way, it's more concerning than it was with other herondales? because not only does he have classic herondale angst but he's living this idyllic life in the english countryside with the best parents ever and a baby sister and a girlfriend and peace and stuff but below the surface it's bad for him he's hurting and it's in direct contrast to his environment and there's nothing he can do about it and it's so jarring

idk im fine but like. im venting
i think one of the biggest things chell struggles with is probably her own guilt. she never gives up, she's tenacious and she'll do anything to survive and it's that anything that bothers her. was glados right, she asks herself. did chell murder her? was it justified? was it the same as taking a life? self defense, she reassures herself. it's not entirely convincing. and then there are the personality cores - she doesn't like to think about how childish the curiosity core was. she doesn't like to think about how eerily silent morality is. she doesn't like to think about dooming wheatley, rick, space and maybe even craig to an eternity in exile. she thinks, maybe if she'd tried harder, she could've held on to wheatley's handles a little tighter. none of these things are her fault - but she can't stop wondering if they are. she can't give up on anything, nor can she give up on her guilt. maybe it's what you deserve, she thinks. you monster.
