7. I missed you

Three months. Three long and lonely months. That’s the time Taeyang barely had time for you, leaving early in the morning and geting back home late at night and barely had time even to text or call you through the day.
He misses your bright smiles, your sweet kisses, your warm hugs and the way you tell him you love him. He misses the taste of your food, your cute sleepy face and the way you sing in the shower.
But now he’s back. After all this time dealing with a tight schedule, promotions and practices non end, Taeyang finally have some free time, even if just for a few days, and he’s willing to spend it with you.
He comes home early and finds you on the kitchen, humming a soft song while preparing your dinner. Quietly, he snakes behind you and hugs you, careful to not scare you.
“Hey”, you softly murmur, chuckling when Taeyang hides his face into your neck and gently pecks your skin.
“I’m home”, he mumbles, pulling you even closer to his body.
Slowly and without breaking your embrace, you turn into his arms to face him with the soft smile he loves so much. Your thumbs gently stroke his cheeks, attentive eyes analyzing his tired but stunning delicate features.
“I missed you, baby”, you whisper, arms wrapping around his neck to bring him for a warm embrace.
“I missed you too. So much”, Taeyang breaths in your sweet scent, feeling the weight on his shoulder slowly fading away, knowing that he’s back to his safe place.
You tighten your hold on each other, reminiscenting this intimacy you’ve waited for so long, sighing in relief and bliss for feeling the one another’s touch and presence again, right there in the middle of your small kitchen.
Neither of you can let go, want to let go, need to let go. You can’t think about anything else but your boyfriend, but you two together again. You forget about your dinner, you didn’t need it anymore.
Instead, you move to your bedroom, allowing to feel yourselves completely: the cuddles, the soft kisses, the warmth of your bodies against together, the “I love you”s, the carefree talks about anything, the loving smiles and bright laughs.
Gosh, how much you had missed this! But, thankfully, he’s here again and you’re here always and you can finally enjoy yourselves for a while,
Taeyang falls asleep before you, his arms loosely around your shoulder, soft snores escaping from his slightly parted lips. Very delicately, you trace the contours of his face - cheekbones, chin, nose, lips - , softly grinning at your sweet sleeping boyfriend before leaning your head on his chest and falling into slumber at the sound of his calm heartbeat.
