The Summer I Turned Pretty. Season Two.

I don’t mind the Belly and Conrad slept together it works for the show(although book her not sleeping with either was kind of really cool of Jenny Han) but I will be a little sadder if her and Jeremiah do…like I feel like that’s such a big thing that she didn’t sleep with him in the books it would just throw things off.

Like the moment Conrad finds out is such a moment in the books…and kinda want to keep that?

I don’t know I just feel like it would be hard to recreate the emotional contentions and punch that moment has.

I wonder why an Irish song sounding cheerful means something terrible or sad is happening?

I don't actually know why, this is more a personal observation that I've made. The rule doesn't apply 100%, but when a song is cheerful, I often find that the lyrics are rather mean-spirited sometimes. (maybe because the singer was happy that something bad was happening to someone else?) When a song sounds sad, often nothing sad is going on. But usually this rule applies to mostly old traditional Irish songs, the more recent ones are not so emotionally confusing. ^^;
