So what do you think of shintaro ?

When we first met, he sorta got on my nerves a bit to be honest.  He gave off the air of a really unreliable kind of guy, you know?  Plus for someone who seemed “unrelated” to the whole situation, it felt like he was just getting in my way when I wanted to talk to Hibiya…  Yet, he was only looking out for the kid, whereas I was selfishly trying to recruit him for my own purposes.  When I explained to Shintaro about our “Eye Powers”, he became even more concerned because of his younger sister…  That’s when I found out he really does care a lot about his family, and I started to think “maybe we are similar after all”.

I began to realize maybe I had been wrong all along, as he taught me what it really means to be a “big sibling”.  Compared to someone like me, who had already lost all hope before even beginning to fight - by coming to the conclusion I had to kill my own little sister…  He chose to take the path of trying to protect everyone instead.  Even when he lost his own sister, he still came to help us - people he barely even knew at that point - because he didn’t want to see the same thing to happen to anyone else.  Despite not having any power of his own, he did his best to ensure our safety.  …Though our plan ultimately ended up a failure, I truly admired him for trying so hard at the risk of his own life - all for someone else’s sake.  Which is why, I thought that…

But… There are many more times when he’s able to stand up and move forward, rather than simply continue to “rot away” by wallowing in sorrow - drowning oneself in despair and darkness like I did.  To take the pain of that “guilt” and turn it into “courage” to help others in need.  When… I said that I’ve “fallen in love” with him, it was sort of a spur-of-the-moment thing.  As someone who’s never had any “friends”, let alone that kind of clichéd“youthful school romance” you see in animé and manga - it seemed like an appropriate expression at the time.  However, the more I watch the world through his eyes, seeing how he’s been hurt and betrayed by “fate” time and time again - yet still strives to make up for his past mistakes and become a better person, by facing up against this cruel “destiny” set before us…  These feelings within me have only grown stronger over time.  I’m not sure what you’d call it, but if I had to say…

…Not that he’ll ever know that, of course.  (At least, for now since he likely doesn’t even remember this conversation.)  Regardless, I have faith in him that - together with my ability - we’ll be able to find a way out of this mess someday.  …As for what will become of me after that, who’s to say.

Let's start with the terrible kuroshin--

…Why.

when I started shipping it if I did: So to start with I don’t actually strongly ship anyone in Kagepro (ShinAyaki being the sole exception now), and any Kuro ships especially make me uncomfortable. x.X However, I can enjoy them for sheer crack/aesthetic purposes.

my thoughts: Pls keep Kuroha away from all members of the MekaDan kthx.

What makes me happy about them: Nothing only tears and despair. OTL

What makes me sad about them: Realistically speaking, it’s pretty tragic considering Shintaro’s “bromance” with Konoha. ;( I’d still like to see an expansion of that scene in LTM where Konoha seems to fight through the possession in order to turn the gun on himself, and Shintaro tries to stop him by taking the bullet instead. 3

things done in fanfic that annoys me: Tbh I’ve never actually read any Kagefic, let alone KuroShin - so I have no idea what kind of content exists for the latter (nor do I think I want to know >>; ).  

things I look for in fanfic: See above.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Shintaro with Ayanoki.  Kuroha (or rather Clearing Eyes/Saeru) can go die alone in a ditch for all I care. =3=

My happily ever after for them: See above.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: More like “big snake/little snake” amirite? ;P *shot* (Man I want to see a mental showdown bw Saeru and Ayaki in their snake forms now hrngh *flails*)

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: …I mean, for Kuroha it’s probably killing Shin over and over again. =’D Does that count?  (Although now I imagine him being like Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter who actually does derive sexual pleasure from murder…)

You always make me smile and laugh whenever we talk together, whether it is about angsty scenarios, asking for help or motivating each other. I still remember the day when you encouraged me to believe more in myself and to post the sprites.
