i do think probably one of the most important things you can do as a trans person is to find other trans people beautiful. try to fall in love with their voices, the way they look, their smiles, the way they move! it will make things feel a little easier

#being trans and wanting to transition is always so funny because in a way it runs so counter to the um 'love yourself' narrative #there's always more than a little bit of Not Being Happy With The Way Things are in being trans #and i think that makes it (understandably) very easy to dismiss the love yourself narrative as simplistic #but i think it's nice to try and meet it half way as much as you can #and i think generally fall in love with people but also people similar to you #cause i think it's hard to skip straight to the end and love yourslef #tbc i think it's also like um how do i put this a Good Person thing to do to feel positively about other people haha #but i think also it will make you happier which is really what im talking about here i guess #ok thoughts over #enbyfication
