I am obsessed with the town of encanto and made a villager his name is Rafael and he’s annoying and awful and I would die for him. Rivals to friends (to lovers??) arc with Camilo, and he’s friends with the ocs my friends made. Have a nice day

I made an 💙🌊Encanto OC🌊💙

Her name is Catalina Madrigal, her gift allows her to generate and control water, she can also create variety of fishes with her gift. She's the only one who isn't blood-related to the family.

(Getting a bit longer so...)

Backstory:

When Catalina's mother was still pregnant with her, he father died of an illness. He mother then died shortly after giving birth. The Madrigals were willing to take her in. At the age of four, Catalina gets her gift.

Personality:

Catalina is a kind and generous person who's always in a calm state. But don't let that beautiful and kind face fool you, she tends to keep her anger closed in, avoiding to lash out. But if anyone tries to mess with her and her family, she'll snap at them.

Character Design/Inspiration:

I made sort of an inspo board for Catalina.

Catalina's personality is similar to Julieta, since both of them are very calm and are very caring towards their family. Her design was inspired by Isabela, since both of them have a elegant and pretty design to them, plus their gifts are similar. I also was inspired by the ponchos/ruanas that Bruno and Camilo wear and I gave Catalina one. Her dress is inspired by traditional Colombian dancers and I like the idea that Catalina dances to use her gift sometimes. I gave her an "underwater sea" theme because I too am obsessed with the sea and aquariums.

Her Gift:

As mentioned, her gift gives her the ability to control and generate water, and she can creates a variation of fishes. Her gift is very useful for many things including watering the crops and entertainment purposes. I imagine her room would be like a grotto, which is basically a fancy type of cave.

I also like the idea of some fish ponds and a waterfall inside her cave room (Don't worry she does also have a bed)

Fun Facts:

The colouring on her braid and the lotus flower she wears behind her ear was done by Isabela and the aquarium embroidery on her waist was done by Mirabel

Like Mirabel, she's very crafty, she can make her own jewellery hence her earrings, necklace and bracelet

She's the same age as Luisa (19)

She can dance! She loves dancing and performing for guests, she and Camilo love having dance-offs (she always won those)

Unlike the others, Catalina has two outfits, one is her dress while the other is her poncho/ruana, she wears either depending on her mood
