I loved Swordheart by T. Kingfisher! The widow Halla & the enchanted sword Sarkis are so cute - I want to keep them forever. This book had me snorting with laughter at times. 🤣🤣🤣 I love that Halla & crew are not trying to save the world - just going on a journey to save her inheritance from her mean, awful family. After the third act break up, our crew has to save Sarkis but will they get to him in time? Will Halla & Sarkis get their HEA? Will Halla be able to defeat her awful family & that cousin with the clammy hands? Will those creepy slime monsters stop causing nightmares?

Naturally, I pictured Adam Driver as Sarkis but Halla - I don’t know. Maybe Emilia Clarke or Claire Foy? Who knows. But it was a delightful action/romance/fantasy all the same.

Im soo sad that all city guards have some amazing pieces of dialogue that you just cant react to, like, im just stroolin’ down a road in whiterun with an enchanted sword and a guard goes ,,You wuldn’t be able to enchant my sword right? that old thing can barely cut butter.,, OMG yes, I would love to enchant your sword, I would love to help in other things, there are so many things that guards say that you just want to help with but cant
