i'm pretty sure i'm end-aligned. it's the one fear that no matter what you do, no matter what precautions you take, no matter how much you cower before or valiantly defy it, it is unavoidable and absolute. death comes for us all, memento mori, ya know? it is still scary, of course - you can't know what comes after. but there's a beauty in knowing that there's a definite point in an undefined existence, something solid to anchor yourself around. it's a small comfort. (also skeletons are cool :) )
