i just.......... i just realized weve commited...... idk even fucking know what do you call it when kill your queen/high priestess/demigodess dude were like terrible endermen weve literally killed the ender dragon before lowkey having an existential crisis about that

(for context of non endermen or those whose worlds worked differently shes somewhere between the three stated titles to us endermen granted we were raised in the nether so she was sorta not quite as important a figure in our lives but still she was practically worshipped and definitely looked up to by most endermen especially endermen raised in the end)

like it was never something we sought or enjoyed doing or anything but just fuck knowing we did that like idk it just makes it all worse and ramps up our guilt x10 its like really hard to process and reconcile

It's.. so weird to see the way people interpret/draw Endermen. Cause the way they interpret is hardly ever how we are, at least how we were in my memories. Yea, some things are correct. We're tall, our main color is black/purple, our eyes glow. But.. most interpret them having scales, straight legs, human-ish hands, only glowing thing is our eyes. But, in my memories, we were fluffy instead of scaley, we had hooked legs kinda like a dogs back legs, glowing teeth and tongue, paws with glowing claws and pads, and we had some color variations in what was glowing (the fur was always black though). The glowing colors varied from purple, green, red, and blue (purple being the most common.) Of course, it's ok to interpret them the way you do, it just feels weird to see them when they're so far different from my memories. - an Endermankin

There's so many dark theories about Endermen and every once in a while a new friend will ask me if one of them was how it was in my canon and I'm like. I dunno man. Maybe that was true? Maybe it wasn't? I wasn't like, keyed into my species' history, I lived in the Overworld all I knew was pick up dirt, move it somewhere else, and do not allow self to be Perceived
