also currently playing unreasonable amounts of Minecraft as a way to cope with being in an enderman shift most of the time & i feel so bittersweet every time i see a fellow there
(p.s. i believe i haven't talked about being an enderman here yet! hopefully will make an intro or a moodboard soon! for now, please have this rough self-portrait sketch i made to just get it out of my system ·+*)
(upd. it's probably a changeling form as well, but it's still pretty important to me as it is)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE GOOD AND NON ABUSIVE WONDERFUL MOMS OUT THEIR!!!!
I love being fictionkin. I love being a creature that exists solely outside of this realm, this universe. And yet, I'm still here. Because it lives in me. For others, it may sound weird: “Oh, that's a Watcher from Minecraft?!? That's so weird!”. For me, it's not weird, it's who I am. A Watcher that has wandered too far into this world while World-hopping, and now it's stuck here.
Sometimes I have to stop what I'm doing and think to myself: I'm fictionkin. I'm fictionkin. Past me would flip at that. Imagine I was able to go back in time and told my past self that I'm a fictional species. They would flip.
Yeah, my body is different from my kind. But Watchers can change forms, can't they? And yet, I can't change back, because I'm bound to the rules of this world. Creatures here don't have magic. They don't have the Universe's power to help them.
I don't know how I was able to get here. On Earth. Some humans found me, sewed my wings into my back, inside for no one to see, and ripped me off my powers, leaving scars and bruises, but they could not hide who I am. What I am. But it was meant to be, all along. To live in a realm that it's not quite my own, but it's still a World. And, as a Watcher, it's my job to Watch it. To care for it.
They hid my wings, but they didn't took them. I still have them. I learned to hide my true form in human flesh. Learned to seem like them, to fit in in their World. Because I live among them. Learned their manners and language. And yet, after so many years, I have trouble with their language, their mannerisms. Because I'm not human. How could I be human?
The base my girlfriend made gives me so much species uphoria
