2021 Bates Predictions
I meant to get this up ages ago but I’ve been busy and only decided to properly start following the Bateses in the past couple of weeks. I had already written my predictions for Josie and Tori’s pregnancies. Putting this up no before anyone else announces.
Zach and Whitney - Â Welcome a baby boy in June. Nothing else
Michaela and Brandon -Â May explore adoption with the support of their family.
Erin and Chad - I’m expecting them to announce a pregnancy anytime now with a baby boy born mid to late summer. They finally get a bigger house.
Lawson - Announces courtship with Tiffany Espensen
Nathan - Announces courtship with Esther Keyes. Engagement this year, marriage in 2022.
Alyssa and John - Obviously welcome Maci. Nothing else.
Tori and Bobby - Announce third pregnancy before Kolter’s birthday. Baby girl born June/July. Baby #4 conceived in December.
Trace - If Lawson announces his courtship with Tiffany then I think Trace will make it his mission to find a girl. Speculation about a potential courtship in the final quarter of the year but no announcement until next year.
Carlin and Evan - Announce they’re expecting #2 in the first quarter of 2021. Baby will be a girl and born in the summer/early autumn. House move.
Josie and Kelton - Announce they’re pregnant with their second child in Jan/Feb. Baby girl born in June.Â
Katie - Gets engaged to Travis with a long engagement of at least a year.

On Lauren and Titus, Part 2
I just remembered that when I became engaged (around the same time of year as these two), I needed my ring resized and it took a while, I think because the holiday season is a common one for engagements. The fact Lauren isn’t wearing her ring may not mean very much.
The social media purge is weirder, though, and hard to explain. Some people have said that the Halls were upset by some of the mockery Titus received on Reddit and elsewhere and they wanted to do a major social media scrub as a result, but I’m not so sure. But the fact the Halls and the Caldwells are still friends on Facebook is interesting.
On the other hand, the Caldwell family recently posted a video of a Christmas pageant that included Lauren and Titus as soloists (it was shared on their Instagram). Even if that video was filmed a while back, would they have shared it if the engagement was broken? And do we really think the pageant was filmed all that long ago? I’m not sure.
The mystery continues! Of course, either one of the family could clear things up by making a simple statement: i.e. “We are so excited for the wedding!” or, “The Lord was leading them in different directions” (i.e. the Duggars with Josiah and Marjorie). I guess if we pass June 18th without a wedding, we’ll know for sure.
Even though this is a tough situation, I do think the best thing for Lauren would be if the Caldwells briefly addressed the speculation once by either confirming the engagement or stating it was broken off, because otherwise gossip will proliferate for months, and people will continue to make wild assumptions that portray the situation in the worst possible light. But perhaps things are in limbo and they are waiting to resolve things before saying anything.Â

But beyond there being a near-instant unanimous decision that the Challengers and Dune: Part Two star is the night’s best-dressed celebrity in her dramatic burnt-orange Louis Vuitton gown—a nod to Old Hollywood star Joyce Bryant—there was something else about the look that elicited gasps from keen-eyed fans. Um, Zendaya, what is that on your left hand’s ring finger?
As photos of Zendaya, who was nominated at Sunday night’s ceremony, flooded social media, users quickly zoomed in on the large, diamond-looking ring on the actress’s engagement finger. Could it possibly be a subtle announcement that she and longtime boyfriend Tom Holland are now engaged?
