Sometimes shit happens at work and you have to adapt. You have to suck it up. Sometimes you get to interact with someone when shit happens and you talk about how it’s their fault, etc.

Sometimes the shit happens and it’s YOUR fault.

Some get upset and try to fix the issue, some ignore it entirely. Those like me become an internal fury ready to scorch the earth, not just because I made a mistake, but because the aftermath is always worse.

I’m not worried about a potential tongue-lashing. Fuck those cunts, I run this place and have to do what I have to do.

I’m more worried about the fucking inconvenience of having to hear about from my bosses, like I’m Peter Gibbons over here. I fucked up a morning, y’all are about to ruin the company, we are not the same.

Ah well. At least the crisis was cleaned up pretty quickly.
