Enid’s Roller Skates and Skateboard.
I've always been okay with seeing Enid as capable of liking girls too. But clearly, if Enid were to have something with a girl... I'd see more with Agnes than Wednesday. Let Enid and Wednesday have red-headed lovers who almost killed them honestly ! But still prefer Enid with Ajax, and really believe one day theh would get back together. 😂
Things I really really really REALLY want to see in Wednesday s2:
-an actual friend group, found family of weird little freaks, Wednesday assembles a Scooby doo of Monster High
-Bianca being awesome
-Tyler being experimented on at Willowhill and more Hyde lore, and Wednesday and maybe the rest of them too rescuing him, I beg on this one
-Eugene and Pugsley being best friends (or maybe more... I will love either)
-Enid seeing the scars she left on Tyler and feeling sad about it
-Tyler seeing Enid's new hair and telling her it looks really nice
-Tyler and Enid becoming really good friends
-Ajax and Enid being a healthy teen couple, Netflix needs at least one of those
Is it just me or does this whole season seem rushed. Enid and this new guy are chained up somewhere and there feels like there are no stakes. I don’t care about this guy. I barely know who he is. And is he supposed to be a werewolf? Enid making this whole I can’t live without my bestie speech meanwhile we haven’t seen any real moments between the two that would resolidify their friendship through the new season. Actually Enid kind of pissed me off in episode one when she just let her, friends I guess; we don’t actually know those people, make out on Wednesday’s bed. Then at the pyre when she got upset at Wednesday for told the school to fuck off for ambushing her with that student of the year award. That portrait alone should’ve been a give away to Enid if all people that Wednesday wouldn’t like that shit. I don’t know everything about this season feels off so far. They’re going for these big dramatic one-liners without setting up the smaller moments to pay them off.
Also, I’m just not liking Enid in general this season. She seems really selfish. She’s done a complete 180 from caring too much about Wednesday’s feelings over her own to not giving a damn about her at all in some ways. And don’t get me started on Ajax. She says they’ve grown apart but we haven’t seen it. She’s just avoiding him and not give him or the audience a chance to see how they’ve grown apart.
I keep forgetting to post this, but...
...Ajax x Bodyswapped Enid-in-Wednesday's body...
It needs to be done.
To be honest, I can totally see where Enid's switch up in S2 has come from. I know it's made people mad at how much she's changed as a person and they think she's out of character, but the way I see it, S1 Enid was all about wanting to fit in, and that's no longer an issue for her in S2. Like, her main concern always was about being a lone wolf and being abandoned by her family/pack because she couldn't wolf out. She was ultimately an outsider who craved to be a part of something that was so close to home for her. It didn't matter how popular she was at Nevermore, what mattered was everything else back in San Francisco.
So, now here she is in S2, able to wolf out and now accepted as a part of the pack. She's wanted that acceptance for so long and it's a lot of weight lifted from her shoulders when you think about it, so she just automatically switched up on everyone because clearly, the grass was just so much greener elsewhere. It's definitely selfish of her, that's for sure, I think what people forget is that she's finally got what she wanted and this sort of thing tends to happen to those in that sort of situation. Any appreciation for the people who lifted that person up just kind of gets thrown out of the window and they won't matter until it's convenient enough for them. It's shit, but it's just how people are.
And the really sad thing about it is the people Enid has left behind; Wednesday, Ajax... Especially Ajax! Oh, she did him dirty! I was routing for them from the very start and was quite upset when it turns out she just dumped him from a great height for Bruno. And it's such a shame because she went out of her way to get Ajax to finally ask her on a date, heavily implied that it would be the two of them against the world and then as soon as she found someone else, she just pretty much ignored him and didn't even bother to tell him they pretty much broke up. Ughhh it makes me wanna bash my head against the wall so bad!!!!
Enid, I love you, but get it together girl
