Another one of those ships where their talents overlap specifically as a love and respect for Japanese culture! Peko might be the only person in DR who can talk with Hiyoko in depth about the history of the kimono

Mean girls in very different ways. Peko does not realize she is being mean and Hiyoko would delight in that. Peko tells Hajime to his face that she doesn’t like him because he isn’t attractive and Hiyoko is snapping photos of his expression with Mahiru’s stolen camera

In Despair form Hiyoko would ABSOLUTELY goad someone into attacking her just so that Peko had a justifiable excuse to brutally murder them. Power couple

Junko/Toko

Both of them go “Wow! I literally don’t respect any of you” to each other. And they are both right

Two people with For Sure personality disorders who could understand each other in a way that almost no one else in DR could. And instead both of them either choose or have an alter who chooses murder! And good for them

I think it’d be funny if Junko and Jack teamed up to make a plan for Toko to fall for Junko and then it failed horribly because neither of them understand people or Toko, despite one of them sharing a headspace with her. Junko who finds a murder bff who is deadass USELESS as a wingman. Junko who is stumped for the first time in her life because Toko is Just That Repressed
