He wakes up earlier than Grantaire, because the early bird get the wor..king democracy and fight against inequality going and all that. Plus, Grantaire is exceedingly cute with his face nuzzled against the pillow. It’s not like Enjolras can resist. He begins by softly running a hand through his hair, clearing off Grantaire’s forehead, and leans forward to kiss his precious boyfriend’s face.

OH MY GOD ENJOLRAS NO :_D HE'D BE FREAKING OUT FOR DAYS AND PROBABLY CRYING A LOT and annoyed with self for crying a lot and Combeferre is just. WHY. (As for Grantaire, I'm a terrible multishipper and have too many AUs at a time, so I love both)

He'd be SO WORRIED. But Enjolras is not quite used to expression his feelings like this, and Feuilly is very much not used to reacting to them, babies.

And Combeferre is still frowning, his lips making a sort of focused pout.

"We can't leave him like this, 'Ferre. It's our duty, we have to fix this," he says with intense dramatic determination, undeterred by the fact that all three of them are currently wearing the brightly coloured superhero pyjamas Bahorel got for them when he declared himself everyone's big brother.
