I SHOULD MAKE A BLOG FOR ALL THE BUGS I CATCH

If I ever find my camera I'm totally going to do it and upload photos of some of my cooler specimens! I am really green when it comes to correct IDs, though, despite catching bugs all my life. It's kind of shocking how many species of earwig and cockroach there actually are, and when you catch a beetle it can be hell trying to get it to family level without a microscope. :c 

I'm telling you guys, the things that made me rage most in Entomology were IDing tiny things like wee little wasps. IS IT A CUCKOO WASP OR A SWEAT BEE IT LOOKS LIKE BOTH IT CURLED UP IS THAT DEFENSIVE OR JUST BECAUSE IT'S DEAD I CAN'T SEE THE UNDERSIDE OF THE ABDOMEN WHY DON'T I OWN A MICROSCOPE UGH THE LIGHTING HERE IS TERRIBLE HOW CAN SOMETHING THIS TINY EXIST IS THIS SURFACE CONSIDERED PITTED ENOUGH OR...?
