On my first day of placement 1 in first year, my nerves were wrecked! I saw another student nurse and thought "please tell me you're first year in the same place as me". So I ask her and she laughs and says "No, I'm on my first day of my last placement". I remember thinking how exciting it would be to be a final year who knows it all and wears red lapels or whatever you call them.
