Consecrating The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram

Text 6 Of The Grand Book Of Satan

Below is given the Consecration Charge for Consecrating The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram, once this has been carried out then it is charged to take its place at the centre of the Satanic Altar . . . at future times all other Implements shall be Consecrated upon this Power Pentacle. An Altar may be erected for the Consecration Of The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram with Candles for illumination and a Candle for lighting in honour of The Lord Satan at the reading of The Entreaty Of Our Father Satan, whether an Altar is erected or not a Candle to ignite when reading the Entreaty should be ready as this Entreaty and the lighting of the Candle in devotion to Satan is performed before all Workings. The Entreaty Of Our Father Satan shall be given in Text 10 of THE GRAND BOOK OF SATAN and this should be read aloud by the Satanic Apostle after a short time of meditation upon the Pentacle and the summoning of Satan which is about to take place. Once the Entreaty has been recited and the Candle of Devotion lit the Apostle should lay their left hand upon the The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram and read aloud The Charge To Consecrate The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram: “Satan . . . Infernal Father of the Legions of Hell . . . true Master of the physical World in which I reside . . . I call upon your ineffable power . . . your infinite force to empower this Pentacle forged of (wood/pewter) . . . to imbue with the Infernal Current that gives birth to all dark creation . . . that it may be transformed . . . into The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram . . . the Core of Power which shall reside at the centre of the Satanic Altar during Rites Satanic and Workings of the Black Magick Arts . . . envelop this Pentacle my Infernal Lord with the Unholy force of your gestations . . . bring metamorphosis to this Implement . . . bring alive the materials which have formed it . . . let it be as a conduit of your infinite Infernal Current . . . a conduit to draw forth, harness and release the majestic power of the realms of Hell . . . to become as the Gateway opening the way to enter the realm between Worlds . . . the Kingdom of the Abyss . . . the Dominion of Shades . . . which lies between the spheres of the physical and the Grand Domain of Hell . . . by your Power my Dark Lord I Consecrate this Pentacle . . . as the Doorway to the Infernal . . . The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram . . . which shall always give entrance to the spheres of Communion between Demon and Infernal Apostle . . . may it always be so . . . Hail Satan!” The Satanic Apostle now veils the The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram in a cloth of dark hue where it shall remain when not being used in Infernal Workings and then after meditating on the power surging within the Pentacle concludes the Consecration with the following words: “It is done . . . within my hands I hold the Tool most Sacrosanct . . . The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram . . . for now it lies veiled from sight . . . shrouded from the eyes of those who would see . . . but once unveiled . . . ever shall this majestic Implement of Satan’s Power open a doorway between the realms of flesh and fire . . . and ever give birth to the Communion between the Grand Beings of Hell and their devoted Apostles here on Earth . . . The Ritual Implements Of The Satanic Altar

Text 4 Of The Grand Book Of Satan

In this Text we focus our attention on the Ritual Implements of the Black Arts necessary to carry out the Rites and Infernal Workings of this Book. Below are listed the various tools and items that shall be required throughout the vast plethora of Satanic Rituals and Demonic Workings that are housed within THE GRAND BOOK OF SATAN. While many of these Implements are required to be present during all Ritual Workings some Implements are specific to certain Rites and Arts, these have been excluded from the list below but shall be dealt with in the Writings appertaining to the Practices in which those Implements are required. Examples of this are the human skull required for The Skull Of The Seer Working or the Mandrake Root needed for the Working known as The Mandragora Homunculi. What is given here then are Ritual and Magickal Implements that shall be used on a regular basis by the Satanic Practitioner and which will need be to maintained and available at all times. BLACK ALTAR CLOTH For covering the Ritual Altar/Shrine during Rituals and Magickal Practices. THE GATE OF THE INVERTED PENTAGRAM The Gate Of The Inverted Pentagram should be the centre point of the Satanic Altar, it should be a Pentacle forged from a circular piece of wood or pewter. It it is on wood it should be painted black with an encircled Inverted Pentagram painted upon it in either Red, White, Gold or Purple. If it is formed from pewter the Inverted Pentagram upon it should be formed separately and attached from either copper, gold, bronze but not silver. THE BLACK MIRROR This should either be an Obsidian Mirror or an ordinary Mirror painted black, it is used in Workings of Seership, Invocation, Necromancy and other Practices and is a powerful Implement of the Satanic Black Arts. FOUR ALTAR CANDLE HOLDERS These are to hold two illumination Candles, the Candle ignited during The Entreaty Of Our Father Satan, and the Candle lit during The Petitioning Of The Demon. OIL/INCENSE BURNER For the burning of aromatic scents during Ritual Workings to set atmosphere and aid in the stimulation of the Psychic senses of the Practitioners. OIL/INCENSE To use for burning upon the Oil/Incense Burner during Ritual Workings . . . suitable Incenses/Oils to use are cinnamon, sandalwood, pine, sulfur, mint or tobacco. METAL ALTAR DISH/PLATE Used for the burning of various items during the Workings of The Black Magick Arts, this should always be available upon the Altar. SMALL WOODEN/METAL BOWLS Useful for housing loose Incense (if being used), Crystals, Herbs or other Ritual ingredients that may be required during certain Rites. CANDLE SNUFFER To be used for the extinguishing of all Candles within the Ritual Working area at the end of Satanic Practices particularly those used upon the Altar itself.

ALTAR GRIMOIRE The Satanic Apostle should have their own handwritten Grimoire of the Work they are practicing from (in this case THE GRAND BOOK OF SATAN), if not then one should be formed from printed pages of the original texts. CANDLES Altar Candles should preferably be of Red or Black, if not obtainable Ivory is a suitable substitute, never should White Candles be used upon the Satanic Altar although these may be used as illumination Candles for around the Working area if necessary. CANDLE HOLDERS/WALL SCONCES To hold Candles of Illumination during Satanic Rites and Black Magick Arts - Sconces are always preferable to Candle Holders for this purpose as they may be positioned upon the wall to cast light down upon the proceedings which is helpful when reading from Ritual Texts. CRYSTAL PENDULUM An Obsidian Pendulum suspended from chain should be kept within the Magickal Implements of the Satanic Apostle, this is used for Scrying, Divining and a number of other Infernal Workings. SCRYING IMPLEMENT If the Satanic Apostle is intent on utilizing the Arts of the Seer in their Practices then a suitable Seership Tool will be required . . . this may be a Crystal Sphere, the Black Mirror, a Scrying Stone or the Candle of the Pyromancer or as many as the Apostle seeks to employ. PARCHMENT PAPER/CARD Parchment Paper and Parchment Card should be kept stocked by the Satanic Apostle for the forging of Sigils, Talismans, Oaths, Pacts, Evocations and other Magickal requirements. FULL LENGTH HOODED BLACK RITUAL ROBE The accepted Ritual Vestment of the Traditional Satanic Apostle and Black Magician, this should always be obtained if possible, if not the Initiate may practice naked or wearing black clothing as long as that clothing is used only for Ritual purposes. MAGICKAL JOURNAL A Magickal Journal should be kept on the Altar for taking immediate notes of unexpected happenings, messages received during practices of Seership, Divination, Remote Viewing or Necromancy. WRITING IMPLEMENTS A Pen should also be kept as part of the Magickal Implements and used only for Infernal purposes such as the writing of Pacts, Oaths and Evocations or the inscribing of Sigils and Talismans . . . a separate writing Implement should be kept for making entries into the Magickal Journal. CRYSTALS  Crystals may be employed upon the Altar if the Satanic Apostle so wishes for use in empowering or adding to the ingredients of certain Infernal applications. The best to employ are black tourmaline, jet, obsidian, apache tear, onyx, smoky quartz or clear quartz. 

DIVINATION TOOL For those who seek to utilize Divination rather than - or as well as - Scrying Tools it may be useful to employ such an item within the Ritual store, this could be Divination Dice, Tarot Cards or Runes.
