episode 290: Uncontrollable! Chopper's Forbidden Rumble!

usopp's VA does the absolute funniest fucking scream before he gets bopped in the face and it is pure comedy. using your teammate as a sword really is a cool idea and shockingly enough has incredible comedic potential. i do feel bad for him here though, he is WOEFULLY out of his element.

some phenomenal usopp expressions, especially with his little fucked up nose. makes me giggle.

this one is hella cursed though, look at how thick and muscular the tongue is, jesus christ lol

what a bizarre power. to have him be fat and immediately undo it for a joke is odd tbh. i don't really get how, but it's... something? feel like he really hasn't used his hair/ body as much.

i like that he calls this move Q, like he uses it as an actual cue, but not sure why different spelling.

oh i actually feel really bad for chopper here. poor guy's body is all outta whack and he can't fight when his opponent, especially when he's powered up. but since they're in a kitchen, i wonder if the fire will make cause a gas explosion? something to give chopper an edge?

now this is a very dangerous ability. now that we know just how strong and hard his hair is, this could very easily kill someone, given how powerful finger pistol is just on it's own.

FINALLY, after all this time, vivi, who hasn't been in the gang for... at least a hundred episodes now? is FINALLY the least-displayed straw hat. poor vivi got a huge bump in alabasta but was never gonna last that long, but damn over a hundred eps before she fell to the bottom. respect, girl!

i know he wants to be called a lion, but his hair really is more like an octopus. as much as he was offended by chopper calling him one, the octopus analogy was much more accurate than the lion one.

ohh i don't like those odds. this looks bad for chopper. and this episode's title has me even more worried...

ugh this is really hard to watch. chopper is basically a kid so this double sucks.

this has to be his coolest looking attack ever. not even gonna question the translucent blossoms.

ugh fuck dude this is just awful i hate watching chopper get beat up in his baby form

maybe chopper has like this beast gene when he gets near death he goes into a berserker rampage mode, like wolverine or something.

I've been relistening to dear hank and john and just got to the "It's not normal to sneeze, I never sneeze" episode. This episode came out almost a year ago, and I STILL think of this every single time I sneeze, or when I hear someone else sneeze.
