not only is this a great visual gag, but it's also a great educational joke! chilblains are large red blisters on the skin after exposure to cold. i learned something new today!

goddamn i love when it zoro goes ham.

the bloody hands and feet made me gasp, it's so brutal. we don't see this sort of... casual pain? i guess is the right word. usually it's all battle damage. little smaller more painfully intimate wounds are less common here, but they really make luffy suffer here so much. it's tragic how much he cares and how much he is willing to sacrifice for his crew. a damn fine captain.
