These are the boots assigned to the low-tier Singer outfit, and they seemed (and proved to be) pretty easy to convert for male sims. I made sure they look both stylish and comfy.
The first preset has a shinier specular for the chain part, and presets 2 and 3 don't have the chain and only have 2 recolorable channels.
Hi there, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve done anything CAS-related 😄 This time I wanted more casual wear for kids, so I converted these sneakers from the Showtime EP. I left a bit more room between the ankle and the shoe, so they’re not “stuck” to the leg. From my tests, they’re fine with most wide-leg pants.
Issues: there can be clipping with some pants that are not too tight but not too loose either (see third sim from the left). it’s usually not too noticeable.
For children, unisex. Everyday, Athletic, Outerwear, Random.
4 channels, 4 presets — each with an unrecolorable stencil (white, black, gray, cobalt blue). Custom thumbnails.
The Ultimate CAS Catalog Overhaul - for real this time!
@lorasandolasbycz asked:
Hi! I love that you made ridiculous sims 3 outfit hiders. Is the procedure with putting them in and getting them to work just the standard? Put the package in sims 3>mods>packages ? For some reason the ridiculous outfits are still in my game. Thanks a bunch!
Well this turned out significantly longer than I anticipated 😂 I did notice that those hiders weren’t working anymore for some reason, but figured it was just my game being pissy, so I left them up and went through ALL sim CAS items again to reorganize them (it was long overdue anyway). This is what I’ll be posting here. It’s a long-ass post, so check under the cut for details.
This applies for all EPs minus ITF, and for HELS. Also I did not initially mean to share these, so only the hairs have previews (because I gave them custom thumbnails). All of them are default replacements, meaning you need to have the EPs/SP for them to do anything. You can put them in any folder you want, as long as it’s under Mods\Packages.

Hair retextures
The hair retextures are only for the hairstyles I decided to keep! Not all hairstyles are retextured! No, I won’t be doing more. Yes, you can use my textures to retexture your own. Yes, I kept the mullet hair from the Basegame. Who do you take me for?

IMG edits
I use these alongside other IMG and mesh edits: [x], no UL stencils, [x], [x], [x], [x], [x], [x], [x].
Basegame: a merged version of all my texture edits: 1, 2, 3, 4.
Ambitions: this edit for the low-level stylist outfit: 1.
Island Paradise: stencil-less version of the male vest, plus this: 1.
Late Night: a few specular edits, a stencil-less version of the muscle shirt, plus this specular edit: 1.
Showtime: specular edits of two dresses.
University Life: stencil-less version of the male hoodie, plus this: 1.
CASP edits
Recategorizers and hiders for sim CAS content - tops, bottoms, outfits, shoes, accessories -, all ages. Open each package in S3PE and use S3OC to see which item is which; there are over 1.5k entries so I have no time to go through every one of them again. At most I can show you how part of my catalog looks (see photoset above). Note that I also use Nraas Master Controller to compress the catalog so that only one preset is displayed.
Pets Riding Leggings Edit (BottomEP5RidingPants)
This is an edit that gives all the channels the same color (the mask is intact so they can still be recolored as usual) and rearranges the presets so that the all-black one is first. It comes with EA-match thumbnails to reflect the color changes. It applies to both genders, teen-elder.
Continuing from @packagedblyss‘s work (shoutout!), here are dressers from the expansion packs (minus ITF)! As opposed to the smaller desks, these dressers truly are 1-tile only and this time I kept their original presets.
The most challenging part were the vanity-type dressers since moving the vertices of the parts where the mirrors connected to the “body” would screw up the UV map, so I had to resize them with that in mind. The mirrors ended up quite small for the sake of maintaining proportions, but I think they would look cute as toys for kids! I normally place armchairs beside them anyway 🙂
There are 16 dressers, from all EPs (minus ITF) and HELS.
Details
- all the dressers are basegame compatible;
- they be found in the same categories as the original dressers;
- they cost roughly 50% of their 2-tile counterparts;
- the Egypt dresser actually had a hidden third stencil, which is a combination of the other 2. I enabled it and added a fourth preset, with recolorable handles;
- I included 2 variations of the Late Night wardrobe: one as tall as the original, and a shorter one.
Store Gown In Law, Futuristic Dress & Showtime Folk Corset Dress for teens
Update 2021/06/10: fixed bad normals on fat morphs on Gown in Law and Futuristic Dress.
Dresses! The Gown In Law is cute but, of course, the only preset EA included is dreadfully boring, so I included some more brightly colored ones. I went ahead and removed the necklace overlay from the textures, too. And the Folk Corset Dress is IMO among the best clothing items EA has done. I chose colors that are similar to the original’s for the presets, but moved the red one to the first spot because I am biased~
Elder versions: Gown In Law, Futuristic Dress 🙂
All are for teen females and come in 3 presets and 4 channels, with custom thumbnails.
Gown In Law: for Everyday, Formal, Maternity, Random. From the Romanza Bridal Party set, but the adult version isn’t required.
Futuristic Dress: Everyday, Formal, Career.
Folk Corset Dress: for Everyday, Formal. From Showtime, but the EP isn’t required.

Making these into proper, usable posters has been a long-time goal of mine, but the fact that the mesh I wanted to use - a flat Showtime one - didn’t have any recolorable bits constantly got in my way. I managed to get around this by extracting the mesh, fiddling with its size and the UV, and importing it over a different painting that did have recolorable bits. And now you can use them to decorate your town!
Note: the paintings look less bright in-game than in the previews.
14 images, divided into two sections/packages: Entertainment (6), and Brands (8). Entertainment images feature performers, Brand ones feature houses and products.
They cost $0 and can be found under Wall Decor.
Can be moved up and down the wall.
You don’t need Showtime to use them.
The mesh is 3x1 visually but the footprint is actually 2x1.
@declarations-of-drama was looking for a simplified golf range on MTS, and while I was sure I’d seen one around before, I couldn’t find it. So I thought - why not try and edit it myself? This does not replace the original object.
+ It requires Showtime for textures, animations etc.
+ In-game, it shows up as requiring Late Night. I don’t know why this happens, probably because of TSRW.
+ Same stats, footprint and catalog location as the original.
+ Custom thumbnail.
Edit: just to clarify (damn you, rushed descriptions!), these objects have inventories. You can use them to store produce, gems, metals, bugs etc.
This is the winner of the second round in the poll (which is still open!): more decorative crap to fix, lol. They took a bit longer to test because I wanted to iron out some things before releasing them, and I’ve been fairly busy IRL as well. Next up: recolorable Seasons Easter eggs!
DR = default replacement, require the specified EPs, will replace EA versions
NDR = non-default replacement, don’t require any EPs, don’t replace anything
Both DR and NDR versions require Treeag’s MiscStorage.package file to work, otherwise you won’t have any interactions. In that respect, they can still be used as decor if you want. The WA and IP treasure chests only come in NDR variety because I didn’t want them to interfere with the chests in tombs and dive lots.
Details:
+ You can find all these items under Storage \ Misc in the catalog.
+ The archives contain both the DR and NDR versions of the items, except for the basegame items (DR only) and the WA and IP chests (NDR only).
+ The items have separate inventories, so you can have a cabinet dedicated to fruit, another dedicated to gems, another for vegetables etc.
