Just saw a toddler start yelling and complaining about something in a store and the mom just reacted with tickling her and saying "aww is my little baby gonna start a tantrum are you gonna start a tantrum?" and the kid started giggling and I was just standing there... like not yelling at a kid or punishing them or hitting them when they cry was an option this whole time?????

we do a lot of mistakes, we’re too much exhausted most of time, sometimes we’ve got a huge lack of kindness for each others, but we’re trying so hard to make a great team together, we’re trying everyday to be the best version of us, for us, for our baby boy. parenting isn’t easy, but we’re trying really hard, no matter what. so i’m so grateful, i’m so proud of us, even if sometimes i feel the opposite. but in the end, thinking about how we started 7 years ago, i’m so proud of us, and i know that we’re gonna make it somehow.

Reason #42 to love your local library: So Jasper woke up at 4 am and decided he wanted to get up and was not going back to sleep. So I got into Tennessee READS, the e-book system for Tennessee libraries, checked out the audiobook of the first Harry Potter book and started playing it on my phone. Jasper was back asleep in less than 10 minutes... I expect my World’s Greatest Dad trophy in the mail any day now.

My brother is seriously the best father! While playing Fallout 4 as his male character with Hancock as his companion, the flirt option came up and of course, he flirted because it's Hancock and who wouldn't flirt with Hancock?! My 11 year old Nephew laughed a bit and said that was weird... But my brother explains that it's completely natural and nothing is wrong with it. And my nephew just shrugged and said "Okay." Parent of the year goes to my older brother!
