i keep seeing memes about odysseus and eurylochus and the "i have to go see her." "but we'll die." "i know." with ody bringing up "who opened the bag? who killed the sheep?? who literally started a mutiny and stabbed me minutes ago?" and such, but one thing i love is you can hear the pain in his voice! "i know."

despite everything that eurylochus did, it still pained odysseus that he and whoever was left of his crew had to die.

i think my favorite version of calypso is epic calypso.
