I screamed, I cried, my heart feels full of pride for my class 1-A babies. BUT ESPECIALLY for Izuku.

I made myself breakfast before sitting down and watching the final episode :’) of the series (although I hear there’s going to be an OVA??).

I am filled with so many emotions and I still don’t have the proper words to express how this anime/manga made me feel. I picked up this manga when I was college and getting older sometimes means that titles might not hook you as strongly cuz “you’ve seen it all”. But somehow, Horikoshi’s beautiful manga broke through all the noise and cemented itself in my soul. As a fan of comic books, I can pick up the references that Hori-sensei puts on paper. I SEE YOU GUY.

I am not normal about these characters, Izuku is my son and Katsuki is my angry little man.

I also watch this subbed AND dubbed. All the voice actors deserve praise for putting all that work after all these years.

Season 8 had me in my feels y’all. And I didn’t even talk about the music??? BRUH.

I just recently read a post where you mentioned the second Teri meri being a dream sequence and maybe arnav *thinking* about khushi. I was just noticing some things after rewatching it that might support this theory. The surroundings where the sequence takes place looks very similar to the warehouse arnav is in rather than the pool side khushi is at

Also can the fairy lights be considered as an explosion of feelings arnav has when *thinking* about khushi

Also the sequence seems to be more about arnav touching khushi rather than the other way round, what do you think?

P.s by *thinking* I mean in a sexual way

The second 'Teri Meri' is a dream sequence, yes. They are in totally different places! My somewhat controversial theory/head canon is that the first 'Teri Meri' is a hallucination as well.

I go into detail in the recap of Episode 170. Basically, I think that IPKKND uses costume changes as a way to indicate a shared hallucination, and that Arnav and Khushi's otherwise inexplicable costume changes and overly sensual dance are both explained by parts of it being a shared dream-state. There's also the way Arnav leads Khushi in the dance.

I also have a bit of analysis here basically saying what you have said -- Arnav pulls Khushi into his fantasy, the fairylights are so meaningful to them, he touches her the way he always imagines touching her, and that the dance itself evokes their journey so far.

I also think that both 'Teri Meri' sequences are about a fundamental change in Arnav and Khushi's relationship. I've spoken about it here, how the first was about Arnav putting aside his ego and giving into his feelings, and the second was about Arnav deciding to forgive Khushi.

Sasuke cameo in Part I fillers!

Episode 170 of the original Naruto anime: Sasuke shows up and even I could see how much he didn't want to be there with Orochimaru and the smug Amachi. Glad he showed up for the first time beyond flashbacks.

And it's got me thinking (headcanon ahead), how disgusted Sasuke was being there. He didn't care for Orochimaru's experiments and yet here he was, being shown off to one of the creep's pawns. Is it any wonder after three years he had enough and killed Orochimaru.

He may claim he doesn't give a damn, but face it, he did. I might write a fanfic about how I think after putting up with Orochimaru for a day and his experiments, he went back to his chamber, threw up a few times, spared with a Shadow Clone of himself, meditated on why he gives a crap and perhaps wonders if Naruto and Sakura are okay then sleep to do it again the next day.

I'm hoping this episode has the two of them actually talking about what happened last episode. Because it really does feel like Jon should have prioritized how Martin was feeling back there and he very much did not.
