Shigaraki and Eri bonding with unintentional quirk training

Like, Shigaraki is constantly accidentally decaying stuff, and whenever he does he just gets all :/ + :(

Eri sees and is like “mood my guy I know how you feel </3… wish I could help…….. oh wait”

So she tries her best to rewind whatever he destroyed! :D

But it doesn’t always work; sometimes she reminds too far or not enough or her quirk refuses to activate, but!!! Practice!!!

And Shigaraki is all smug like “actually yes this was my plan all along rise minion and take over the world!”

It gets to the point where he’s intentionally decaying stuff, Eri uses her quirk and gets tired, and then he makes a more conscious effort to not decay stuff bc 1) it’s harder for Eri to use her quirk the longer the object she needs to rewind has been like That and 2) Shigaraki doesn’t want to stress her out

So when she’s tired, he unintentionally trains by trying not to decay stuff. When she’s ready, she trains by rewinding his decayed stuff (and sometimes they play a little wac-a-mole type game where Shiga decays or pretends to decay objects, which means more practice, and Eri has to rush to rewind them and make sure not to get fooled by what he pretends to destroy and waste time)

Erasermic Headcanons I Have

Summary: Just some headcanons I have

Aizawa, Yamada, and Shinso all have a hard time going and staying to sleep but Eri usually doesn’t

She does have nightmares sometimes so Shinso will lay with her during the night while Aizawa and Yamada guard the door to make her feel safe

It’s also so Eri knows that Shinso is safe since the idea of him being in danger terrifies her

The three guys used to stay up almost all night

Mic would go to the kitchen at 3 in the morning and see Aizawa and Shinso with their arms full of snacks and guilty smiles

He just sighs and holds his hand out for a bag of chips

They still do this when Eri’s around but they’re much quieter because they don’t want to wake her up

Shinso will sometimes barge into Aizawa and Yamada’s room with a random thought he got in the middle of the night

Aizawa and Yamada (mostly Yamada) will do the same to him

It’s always written down

Sometimes it’s because everyone else is asleep but usually it’s so they can talk to Eri about it in the morning

They don’t want her to be left out

Eri starts doing the same thing when she’s older

The same goes for shower thoughts and they all get unnaturally frustrated if they forget it before getting to tell everyone

Aizawa hates doing interviews because they make him really anxious

When he first did an interview he had a panic attack

Aizawa taught Shinso vines

Shinso comes home and hears Mic scream “THIS BITCH EMPTY!” at the top of his lungs from the kitchen

Shinso’s just like “yup, this is normal” until he hears Aizawa, completely dead inside say “… Yeet.”

This kid was laughing so hard and he caused everyone to be concerned

Shinso later made Aizawa teach him his ways

He is now fluent

He heard Denki quoting vines and rolled up with “fuck your chicken strips.”

Denki fell in love right then and there

You know what I think about constantly?

Tomura with his war arc hero suit, with Eri desperately clinging to his neck while AFO's powers destroy his body.

I can imagine Eri being in the battlefield for whatever reason and she sees the fight between Aizawa and Tomura. And because she's been listening to what adults say about Tomura, she realizes is her chance to be like Deku, rescuing someone while protecting her dad (Aizawa).

Bonus points if Eri's powers make some interference between AFO and Tomura, which means AFO can't mentally control Tomura but he keeps trying to destroy his body. Tomura starts losing control of the quirks he accumulated and AFO send the nomus down Tomura's way.

That way you'd have Tomura reflexively protecting Eri while fighting the nomus, and Eri helping Tomura just like she helped Izuku, to save his life. Maybe Tomura feels safe around her because she reminds him of Hana, of the way her sister used to take her hand to comfort him. And maybe Eri feels safe around him because she heard about Twice and Toga helping going against Overhaul and also she knows Tomura feels the itch too, the itch that makes you do bad things and hurt people, so she wants to help him.

After the battle, Tomura wraps Eri in his cape and gives her to Aizawa before collapsing and blacking out. Eri keeps referring to Tomura as her older brother because while Tomura was fighting, he accidentally referred to Eri as his little sister.

Deku and Eri have an alliance against people hurting Tomura. When he wakes up, he's very agitated but Aizawa is in the room controlling his quirk too. Eri keeps insisting Aizawa should take care of him like he did with her, and Aizawa is hella furious, but something crazy happens and Tomura starts talking with them. No, it's because they are finally listening. Deku and Tomura talk about what they saw while fighting and All Might arrives and they also get to know Tomura's story with the Shimuras and AFO, and suddenly Aizawa is more horrified than anything. He remembers what Kurogiri told him and finally he decides that oh well, apparently he's about to start co-parenting the greatest criminal in Japan.

Please, Tomura and Eri would love to play video games together. They would also dress as king and queen siblings. Since they both have mutant quirks, Tomura could also help Eri controlling her quirk and the itch. And I don't know why I think Eri would have also a little dark side that would feel safe for knowing Overhaul can't use his quirk anymore.

Eri Confusing Holidays

IT'S TOO CUTE!!!

Eri is not used to all these holidays and traditions so it's only natural she'd be confused about them and mix them up.

Halloween candy on Valentines day honestly works pretty well. No one really says anything since you're meant to give chocolates to people anyways.

However, they might need to explain how you don't give people Christmas presents on St. Patrick's day.

MHA Headcannons: Eri

Her room is between Aizawa and Midnight’s rooms: So that when her horn acts up or when she is having trouble sleeping.

She likes Jiro’s singing: While she was more focused on Izuku during the festival, she loved the song Jiro sang. Sometimes, she would even sing Eri a lullaby for her naps. Speaking of singing…

Present Mic once sang Eri to sleep: it was a rough night for Eri, as nightmares kept plaguing her. Midnight didn’t want to keep using her Quirk because eventually Eri would get immune to it. So, Mic volunteered to sing to her. Everyone thought he was gonna beatbox her to sleep. Nope. He sang a very beautiful ballad and it worked! It even put Aizawa to sleep.

She was initially weary of Aizawa: I mean, the guy isn’t the most approachable looking hero you’d find on the street. But, after him visiting at the hospital while she recovered from her fever, she started to trust him a little.

She found Present Mic off-putting for a while: the man is way more zanier than Mirio and can be a little much for Eri.

She suffers from depression: at this point, I think the majority of MHA characters are depressed one way or another. Anywho, sadly enough, kids do get depressed.

Eri isn’t aware of a lot of heroes: Because she was essentially sheltered for a long while, she isn’t aware of many Pro Heroes. That even includes All Might.

She doesn’t like getting shots: Like any little kid, though she is a special case. The only person she trusts with the job is Recovery Girl as long as someone is with her – like Aizawa, Mirio, or Izuku.

She likes Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi, and Hamtaro: She started watching these shows with Hadou.

Eri has a playmate in Kouta: Aizawa and Mandalay figured that this would help with their trauma. And they were right. Kouta is now teaching her how to play Yu-Gi-Oh.

She has cooking sessions with Satou: another part of her therapy. She’d even appear on a few YouTube videos with him on the class’ channel, which she is a frequent guest star.

She’s afraid of showing her arms and legs: Even if the temperature is 100 F, she’d still want to wear long-sleeved shirts and leggings/pants to hide her scars. It’s a work-in-progress that she needs to overcome. Thankfully, everyone is patient with her.

Has called Aizawa ‘daddy’: She had a horrible nightmare that woke her up screaming. She started crying out for ‘daddy’, making some think she was talking about Overhaul – thus thinking she was trying to get away from him – only to grab for Aizawa and calling him ‘daddy.’ Thirteen gushed at the sight – as did All Might though secretly as he doesn’t want to be subjected to Aizawa’s glare. Midnight and Present Mic are happy to finally be an aunt and uncle respectively. Aizawa is not amused at their reactions…though he appreciates the sentiment deep down.
